Jeannette Wright, BA MA
Empowerment Guide

As a small child, Jeannette was obsessed with horses and dogs and loved spending time at her grandparent's farm. As she got older, Jeannette gave up her dream of having horses and left for college. Both during and after college, Jeannette became an accomplished educator, high profile public speaker and a published writer of the book Men Are Dogs: A Woman's Guide to Choosing Her Breed of Man, which led to appearances on shows such as The Today Show and Good Day Dallas.

In 1993, Jeannette and her husband, Dr. Lance Wright, decided to live a life full of adventure and solitude, so they moved to Arizona and lived in a tipi for several years. When they moved back to Texas, Jeannette helped set up and run Lance's successful Chiropractic business, as well as marketing and organizing his Flowtrition seminars and events.

Jeannette's life-long dream of having a horse finally came true in 2005, when she adopted a PMU (Premarin) mare and moved to the country. Jeannette has experienced the joys and challenges of working with a diverse herd.  She has four horses and a donkey of her own, and she runs a Horse Boarding facility called FireHawk Ranch, and is currently boarding several other horses for friends.

She has hosted numerous horse clinics and events at their ranch. Highlights were Frédéric Pignon and Magali Delgado, the original stars of the show Cavalia, for their first clinic in the United States. Also, the annual Healing with Horse Symposium with keynote speaker Linda Kohanov, author of Five Roles of a Master Herder and four other books. Jeannette also hosts Stephanie Millham, student of the great horse master, Nuno Oliviera, eight times a year.

Jeannette's passion is discovering what works for both humans and horses and providing a well-balanced, harmonious life for all.

Michelle spent her college and early adult years away from horses but rediscovered their healing power in 2014 while volunteering at a therapeutic riding school.

Michelle realized her life-long dream of horse ownership in 2017 with a Thoroughbred gelding named Marshall. Marshall moved with Michelle and her husband, Luis, from Connecticut to Colorado then Texas for Michelle's career. Michelle found Jeannette's farm, FireHawk Ranch, when she needed a new place to board Marshall. Michelle's current horse, Forrest, lives at FireHawk Ranch and is her partner in Blue Horse Empowerment. The pair look forward to helping clients realize their true leadership potential by harnessing the power of communication.
